Jim Webb
Chief, Corporate Strategy Army & Air Force Exchange Service
Jim Webb’s career has been strategically unplanned. On graduating from West Point, Jim served as Commander of a Special Forces unit. He found his next assignment as research engineer on the strategic defense "Star Wars” Initiative at Texas Instruments in Dallas.
Completing business school launched Jim into twenty-five years of leadership roles in the strategy consulting practices of such firms as Price Waterhouse, Deloitte, and AT Kearney – with time out as the strategy director of an international manufacturing company and a director in AT&T’s e-commerce initiative.
He now teaches graduate-level strategy courses at Southern Methodist University and serves the Army & Air Force Exchange Service as chief strategist.
Jim earned his CMC in 1988. He sits on national and local boards (including US Olympic Committee National Governing Body) and served as president of the US Judo Association and the DFW Chapter of IMC USA.
Jim has been a national judo champion and is currently president of the Diogenes Club, the Dallas Sherlock Holmes literary society. |

Strategy Consulting What It Is and How It Can Add Value to Your Practice |

It is no secret that those major firms that bill themselves exclusively as strategy consultants both charge the highest fees and interact with the highest levels of the corporation.
This interactive discussion will focus on what strategy consulting is, how it has evolved over time, and how it can add value to your current practice. |
