IMC USA charters geographic and virtual chapters wherever there are enough interested members who want to collaborate to build professional skills and their business networks. Members may affiliate with any single chartered chapter they choose.

Most chapters sponsor monthly professional development programs, networking, teaming among members, and opportunities to participate in pro bono activities where they contribute their management consulting skills to improve their local communities.

Some chapters that want to provide public information about their activities for individuals who prefer not to log in have created public landing pages. All IMC national and community events are all accessible from the main event calendar without signing in as are all member profiles.
